Is it the same cleaner every time?
When possible. While it may not always be the same cleaner who visits your property, you can count on the same thorough and consistent cleaning every time.
Who will I be in contact with?
The ProStar Cleaning Division Manager will be your single point of contact for arranging services and providing feedback.
Can I trust my cleaner? Do you do background checks?
Third-party background checks and police information checks are conducted for every ProStar cleaner. ProStar is fully bonded and insured.
Do you provide the cleaning supplies?
Yes. Our cleaners will bring everything they need to clean your house thoroughly. If you have specific cleaning products in your home that you would like us to use instead, just let us know.
Do you use environmentally friendly cleaning products?
Yes. Where possible we use cleaning products that are considered “green”, in addition to being effective. Some tougher cleaning tasks require chemicals (eg. toilet bowl cleaner) and in those instances our cleaners will use whatever product will be the most effective.
What does your satisfaction guarantee cover?
If you’re not happy with how your property was cleaned, we will re-clean it. Simply contact the Cleaning Division Manager with your request.
Can I make special requests?
Yes. We can accommodate most special cleaning requests. Contact the Cleaning Division Manager with your requests.
Do I need to be home while my house is being cleaned?
Not necessarily. Entry to your home can be arranged however you are most comfortable, whether that’s by being home, or having someone let our cleaners in. For scheduled repeat visits, ProStar will ask for and safely manage a set of your house keys.
How can I request an estimate?
Free quotes can be provided by email or by phone or you can easily book online with our easy online booking form. For larger jobs or special cleaning requests, ProStar can provide an in-person assessment and estimate.
How does booking work?
You can book your cleaning using the easy online booking tool at the top of this page. To change an appointment or adjust your cleaning schedule, contact your Cleaning Division Manager. Same-day bookings are often possible — call ProStar to inquire.
What are your payment options?
Payment for your house cleaning can be made with cash, cheque, credit card, or e-transfer to [email protected] — whichever is most convenient for you.
Is there a minimum appointment length?
Yes. The minimum appointment length is 3 person hours (eg. 1 cleaner for 3 hours, or 3 cleaners for 1 hour)
How are keys managed?
ProStar handles keys with the utmost care. Home addresses are never written on keys, in case they are dropped or lost. Keys are signed in and out each day and kept in our locked key locker.
Should I tip the cleaners?
Tipping isn’t necessary or expected, but please do feel free to tip the house cleaners if you feel inclined to. If you think they did a great job, offering a kind word is also welcome!
Do you offer Covid-19 Disinfecting Services?
Yes. To sanitize your house, both electrostatic disinfecting and surface disinfecting services are available on request for residential properties.
