What type of Carpet Cleaning equipment do you use?

We use high-end carpet cleaning equipment, including truck-mounted machines (with hoses extending into and through the property) and portable machines for areas where hoses won’t reach. 

Do you provide spot and stain removal? 

Yes. Spot and stain removal are included as part of our carpet cleaning service. Extra charges may apply for excessive stains and spots. The cleaner will speak to the homeowner before incurring extra charges.

Can you treat and remove pet urine? 

The amount of urine determines whether or not we can treat the pet stain or remove the odour.  Odour is aggravated by heat and moisture — the two things we use to clean carpets. Small amounts should pose no problems. To remove large amounts of urine, carpets would need to be removed, cleaned, sanitized, dried, and reinstalled over a disinfected sub-floor. When carpets can’t be cleaned and need to be replaced, our sister company, Vibe Interiors, can help. 

Do you provide area rug cleaning? 

We have a large facility where your area rugs can be dropped off, cleaned, hung to dry, and picked up. We do offer area rug pick up and delivery, for a fee.

Should I vacuum before my Carpet Cleaner arrives?

You get your best results by pre-vacuuming.  The carpet cleaner does not pre-vacuum.   ProStar maid services can provide vacuuming of your property prior to carpet cleaning.  Please contact ProStar to arrange. 

Can I trust my Carpet Cleaner? Do you do background checks?

Third-party background checks and police information checks are conducted for every ProStar team member. ProStar is fully bonded. 

What does your satisfaction guarantee cover? 

If you’re not happy with how your carpet was cleaned, we will re-clean it. Simply contact the Cleaning Division Manager with your request.

Can I make special requests? 

Yes. We can accommodate most special cleaning requests. Contact the Cleaning Division Manager with your requests.

How can I request an estimate?

Estimates can be provided by email, online or by phone. For larger jobs or special cleaning requests, ProStar can provide an in-person assessment and free estimate. 

How does booking work?

You can book your carpet cleaning using the online tool at the top of this page. To change an appointment or adjust your carpet cleaning schedule, contact your Cleaning Division Manager. Same-day bookings are often possible — call ProStar to inquire.  

What are your payment options?

Payment for your house cleaning can be made with cash, cheque, credit card, or e-transfer — whichever is most convenient for you.

How are keys managed?

ProStar handles keys with the utmost care. Home addresses are never written on keys, in case they are dropped or lost.

Do I need to be home while my carpet is being cleaned?

Not necessarily. Entry to your home can be arranged however you are most comfortable, whether that’s by being home, or having someone let our cleaners in. For scheduled repeat visits, ProStar will ask for and safely manage a set of your house keys.
